About Us

Forty years ago we launched Marian's Dream with the goal of ending pet overpopulation through public education campaigns, systemic change and development of infrastructure. At that time some 12 million cats/ dogs were being euthanized by U.S. shelters annually; today, that number is about 2 million per year. This drop was a result of years of networking with individuals, grassroots and professional groups; promoting TNR at the APHA and Fix by Five at the AVMA, and holding conferences. This lifesaving work continues. We welcome you to join us!
